Courtyard Marriott Lake Placid Hotel, Lake Placid

The hotel offers a convenient location for skiing at Whiteface and attractions in Lake Placid. While the rooms were okay and clean, some were dated and not available until late. The service was friendly and efficient, but lacking local activity knowledge. The dining was average, with disorganized options and additional charges, contrasting the great facilities and great staff courtesy.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with a great bathroom, although unfortunately, the noise from cars kept me up all night. The service was exceptional, always friendly and accommodating, even when our fridge broke. The location was good for outdoor activities like skiing, and the pool area was small but well tended to. However, the dining experience was a bit of a letdown, as the quality didn't match the price paid for the stay.

The hotel had a bit of rust forming on metal and was basically dirty. My room was by an exit door on the first floor, where the door was banging closed constantly, starting very early in the morning as guests left for their hockey games. The rooms would benefit from a refresh.
